Disneyland theme parks were established after Walt Disney succeeded on creating cartoon animations in late 1930s. Mickey mouse and Snow White are some of the popular characters of Disney.
Disneyland Park was first constructed in Anaheim, California opened on July 17, 1955. Because a lot of people loves visiting their favourite Disney stars and being with them on their magical rides, Disney decided to construct more amusement parks in different countries and one of these parks is in Hong Kong which was opened on September 12, 2005 and will celebrate its 12th anniversary this year.
It is divided into seven themed areas: Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point and Toy Story Land. The said park is 15 minutes’ drive only from Hong Kong International Airport which may cost you only 200 HKD or 25.60 USD if you’ll ride an ordinary cab or if you are travelling alone, they’ll suggest you ride their train which takes a half hour travel with an octopus card which is cheaper than the cab fare.
Every day, most visitors are spending their entire day on the theme park as they want to witness Hong Kong Disneyland’s Magical closing parade and fireworks display called “Disney in the Stars”. Parade starts from 6:30 PM HK time to 7:30 PM HK time where your favourite Disney stars are on their well lightened and time consumed floats as they enter the street with their fellow co-characters on each Disney movies: Belle and Beast, Tinker bell, Mickey Mouse, etc.
30 minutes after the said parade, nights end by displaying their dream like fireworks, the Disney in the Stars. This is the most awaited part of visiting HK Disneyland as you’ll be in tears when you watched the legendary Disney princesses and cartoon characters in sleeping beauty castle while the sky is enlightened by said display. Imagine your favourite stars reunites with their fellas, how wonderful is that? Well, I couldn’t hold my tears when I witnessed the actual display.
I hope this may help you as your guide on your visit in Hong Kong Disneyland and keep your inner child memories alive.
"Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”-Matthew 18:4.
